AAE has relaunched the WAV vane. The material the original WAV vane was produced is no longer in production so following a year's worth of testing AAE has found a new material that is easy to fletch and performs extremely well off recurve rests and plungers. It's forgiving in the wind too and performs extremely well at the lower speeds that recurve bows are known for.
The new AAE WAV vanes do not require any prep as they already have a factory applied activator, so just clean your shafts as per normal and apply any quality cyanoacrylate glue.
The new AAE WAV vanes do have different flight characteristics compared with the original WAV vanes so AAE does not recommend that you have two different types of vanes on your arrows.

Low profile for riser clearance, ultra-thin (.010 or .3mm) and very durable. It measures 2.0in in length, is 0.33in high and weighs 1.7 grains. The AAE WAV vanes have a proven track record winning tournaments and world championships.
