The revolutionary McKinney II shaft allows archers to reach 90 meters with less draw weight than ever before!
This extremely fast new arrow will give you speed beyond your wildest dreams. With speed comes flat trajectory and flat trajectory allows less wind drift. Rick McKinney spent over three years working on the materials, specific wraps of carbon, and the precision required to satisfy archers who want ultra-precise products. The super high tech, space-age carbon used in each shaft allows for the lightness with extreme exactness.
The McKinney II shafts are the most precise arrow shafts made today.
This shaft is definitely aimed at the serious top-level competition archer, offering a very closely matched (for both weight and spine) set of 12 shafts, with a price tag to match the performance of such a high quality shaft.
All Carbon Tech McKinney II shafts accept the ACE range of internal fitting components such as
*For 450 and 500 sizes only we recommend using Easton ACG points and if you want to use a pin nock system then select the Easton ACG Pins as these components have a lightly wider outside diameter suitable for these larger size shafts.
The Carbon Tech McKinney II is a lightweight shaft, weighing in at just under the equivalent ACE, ensuring high speed and a low trajectory to the target.

We recommend Rick’s Glue for the points. This 48-hour epoxy gives the shaft better frequency absorption. Just remember to let the glue cure for the full 48 hours or you will lose points. For the pin system, you can use low temperature hot melt. This glue has similar absorption capabilities as Rick’s Glue but does not adhere as strongly. We do feel that super glues do not work as well due to the crystallization of the glue after a short period of time. Never use glues with Beiter nocks—most glues will attack the plastic and cause the nocks to deform and even break or crack. Use Teflon tape instead. This lubricity tape keeps the nock secure yet allows you to twist the nock into place.
