R.A.S. - Ratchet Adjustment System:Carter's patented R.A.S. gives the archer control to adjust the ratcheting half moon or hook at six degree increments with a simple half turn of the screw without losing the original setting. Available in the Atension or Colby 2 releases. |

"At Carter, only the finest material fo into producing our releases. The housings are CNC machined from 6061 T6 aluminium. They are vibratory deburred and anodized for a very attractive, yet durable finish. The internal pieces of our releases are CNC machined from 1018 cold roll steel. They are case hardened to 50 Rockwell C [TM], then plated to reduce wear. Each release is hand assembled and tested before it leaves our facility. We feel that every release that goes out the door is capable of shooting a perfect score, or bagging that once-in-a-lifetime whitetail. The rest is up to you."
